Something for every taste & budget
Going alcohol-free doesn’t mean missing out on flavour or grown-up drinks. In fact, the alcohol-free drinks world has exploded in recent years — which means there’s something out there for everyone, whether you're on a budget or treating yourself.
Whether you’re sober, sober curious, or just want to cut back without feeling like you're sipping squash at the party, here’s your go-to guide to the best alcohol-free options — by category and price point.

Alcohol-Free Sparkling Wines
Low budget – Freixenet 0.0 Sparkling Rosé or White
Light, fruity, and easy to find in supermarkets (around £5–£6). A reliable option for picnics, parties or just a Friday night treat.
Mid-range – Nozeco or Belle & Co
Popular for a reason! Nozeco has a Prosecco vibe and is widely available (around £4–£6). Belle & Co is made from grape juice with a touch of green tea for a dry finish, although oddly this is out of stock in most places at the moment. A shame as it’s one of my favourites!
High-end – Noughty Sparkling Chardonnay or Rosé
Certified organic, low sugar, and very close to the real thing. Great for special occasions or celebrations (around £10–£12). Loved by many in the sober community.

Alcohol-Free Still Wines
Low budget – M&S Alcohol Free Wine
For around £4 per bottle, there’s a red (mellow & fruity), a rose (fruity & bright) and a white (citrusy & light), all of which are pretty decent for the price.
Mid-range – Oddbird Red or White Wines
These are dealcoholised wines that retain a proper wine character. Expect to spend around £9–£12, and they pair well with food.
High-end – French Bloom or Vinada
Beautiful branding and elegant flavours. French Bloom is ultra-refined and pairs well with fine dining (around £20–£25). Great if you miss the ritual of wine.

Alcohol-Free Beers
Low budget – Heineken 0.0 or Corona Cero
Tasty, crisp, and accessible in nearly every shop (under £1.50 a bottle). Ideal for barbecues or casual nights in.
Mid-range – Lucky Saint or Infinite Session
Full-bodied and flavourful, these beers are brewed with care and loved by craft beer fans. Expect to pay £2–£2.50 per bottle.
High-end – Big Drop Brewing Co
Award-winning AF craft beers with everything from pale ales to stouts. Available in mixed boxes for around £20–£25.

Alcohol-Free Spirits
Often found in supermarkets for around £12–£15. Great gin-style alternatives — mix with tonic and a wedge of lime.
Mid-range – Lyre’s Range (Italian Spritz, G&T, Rum etc.)
Super versatile with great flavour. They have a bottle for every spirit style, and you’ll find bundles from around £20–£25.
High-end – Seedlip or Pentire Coastal Spritz
Seedlip is the original alcohol-free distilled spirit — refined, botanical, and sugar-free. Pentire is a unique, herby option made in Cornwall. Expect to pay £25–£30+ per bottle.

Kombucha – The Gut-Friendly, Grown-Up Sip
Kombucha is a naturally fermented tea that's slightly fizzy, a little tangy, and often packed with flavour — making it a brilliant alcohol-free option if you want something that feels adult but isn’t pretending to be wine or beer.
It also supports gut health thanks to those live cultures, so it's a win-win for your body and your taste buds.
Low budget – LO Bros or M&S Own Brand Kombucha
Affordable and easy to find in supermarkets (around £1.50–£2.50). Flavours like Raspberry & Lemon or Ginger & Lemon feel fresh and zesty.
Well-balanced flavour, not too vinegary, and naturally low in sugar. These are widely available and feel a little more elevated. £2.50–£3.50 per bottle.
High-end – Fix8 or JARR Kombucha
These are the kombuchas that feel cocktail-worthy. Crafted with botanicals like turmeric, rhubarb, or strawberry basil. Around £4 per bottle and often served in high-end cafés and wellness spots.

Bonus: Something Cosy for Non-Drinkers
Try: Pukka Herbal Teas, Glow Water, or Trip CBD Drinks
These can be a lovely evening ritual replacement for wine — calming, nourishing, and perfect for winding down.
You don’t need alcohol to enjoy a special drink, and these alcohol-free options prove it — from kombucha and sparkling teas to wines and botanical spirits. Whether you’re unwinding after a long day or hosting a celebration, there’s something delicious for every mood and moment.
And the best bit? No hangovers, no regrets — just drinks that support the life you're building.
